Who is going to the Mounds opening day?

It was been ten years since I have been to the mounds.  Is opening day crazy?  Is it worth going?

its hard to say its been slower a lot the past few years. not a lot of people going as much as before. Sundays use to be busy for us trucks but now its a few jeep groups out there from time to time and you might get lucky to see a few full size trucks. I dont even go that much anymore I get out there and ride around for a bit then sit and wait to see something and dont really see much so i go home. Would love for it to get busy again at least once a month but I doubt it.

If it's like closing day nope I went and maybe seen 4 trucks. It's like the mounds is dead. It's sad

Just let me know.  I am only 9 miles from the Mounds. I have a full size rig and my wife has a Jeep.  We will be wheeling out there.  It is a double edge sword for me.  I like to see rigs and action, but hate when things are soooo crowded.  Let's Plan on May 20th to do some wheelin'!!!!!

From what I gather on the web site it is Tuesday May 16th.  I am not taking a day off of work so I am going on Saturday the 20th.

I'm 2 miles from there and haven't went in a couple years. Should get back out this year, haven't had a rig to take since i sold my jeep.

I Haven't been to the mounds in 10 years.  I heard they have done a lot of work on the trails and added a bunch of rocks to climb.  It is better then it was 10 years ago?

We went Saturday.  There were very few trucks.  I think I was the biggest one on 37's!  Seems like the dirt bikes and ATV's have taken over the place!

Thinking about taking my truck up there like 6/17/17 if anyone else is going let me know! Be nice to not be alone out there! I've never been, and my trucks still a fairly new build.
