What gears are packed away in your axles? How about lockers or limited slips. And what axles? Just woundering. I'm packing 6.17's. Dana 60's with a Detroit locker front and a spool in the rear. How about you?

5.38s open dana 60 front. welded 14 bolt rear.
5.13 gears rear is welded and front is open. also have 4.24:1 gear reduction in t case. in 4wd low in drive i can go 15 mph at 3000 rpm's.

well just found out another lie that the guy i bought my truck off of. said it had 4.10s front and rear. really it has 3.73's with a 10 bolt front and 14 bolt semi floater rear turnin 35's, but switching to these sense i have the axles already sittin out back...
10 bolt front with detroit tru trak and 4.10s, and a spool or detroit locker 14 bolt full floater. eventually upgrading to 4.56's or 4.88's depending on what i end up doing for lift and tires down the road.
the 79 has rocks 6.72 i belive with 53 inch tire
the 89 has 14 bolt ff 10 bolt front 4.10 gears with 44 inch tires but a 60 be for summer
the 49 has 14 bolt ff 44 front 4.10 gears with 44 inch tires but 60 befor long

My samurai has stock axles with 373 gears. The rear is spooled and front is open. 6.5:1 low range T-case with 1.2:1 high, so it makes the 373's more like 447. With 35 x15.50 x15 swamper sx
