what is the truck/motor?

if you have spark and you have fuel, then it should at least start,

might want to try and replace the plugs and maybe wires,

i had a motor that didnt want to start because of plugs, it ran great after changing them.

will it fire off ether? if so it could be bad gas, accelerator pumps could be plugged up, few things... try firing it off ether, if not.. change plugs and try again!

are the wires on in the right order? ya said its getting spark, but it might not be going the right way. if the mod was bad, it wouldnt spark at all i dont think. and has the timing been changed? and is the distributor tight?

had the same problem with my suburban.  Wires were on wrong.  #1 cap points to #1 cylinder, and firing order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 clockwise around the cap. looking at front of motor the drivers side bank is odd(1-3-5-7) and passenger side is evens(2-4-6-8). http://www.chiltonlibrary.com/content/images/9102/images/91022g03.pdf

Hope this helps, let us know what happens or what the cause was!!

if its been sitting for more than 30 days with gas in it i would think that its bad gas . the fuel we get nowdays breaks down really fast. last spring my bogger started up just fine the next week it wouldn't run . had to pull the carb apart and clean out the jello from inside.

I'm with F4x4C. I think the wires are on in the wrong order or the distributor came loose and turned. If it won't fire off ether, it's not a fuel problem. If you're getting spark in through a tester I don't think it's the coil. Check your wires, they might be on 180 degrees off. Check timing. I bet that's gonna be your problem.

module normally wont stop it from starting just dies the more rpms you turn. we dont run a alt on my racecar and we only charge the battery for a couple hours befor we race.

X2 on bad gas...try dumping some fresh gas down the carb!

Might be low compression from the cylinders rusting up sittin so long. Maybe pull all the plugs, spray wd-40 in all the holes and crank it over till it turns real freely, then put new plugs in check firing order and THE POSITION OF THE ROTOR IN RELATION TO THE CAP? ??? ;D
