Title: ball's deep
Post by: camok10 on January 20, 2011, 08:22:54 AM
well this is the new project for now im shure most of you know how fast i go through car's so we'll see how it go's (oh ya and i traded my f150 with a bad trans for this ) i know it's not a 4x4 but it's what i got now loll and im shure you all can apreciate a clean muscle car as much as a bogger

85 monte ss  ;D

healthy sbc, th350 trans unknown axle gear's

what i plan on doing is some finishing touches as the car is mostly done

those touches include fix speedo, fix the factory tach or mount a aftermarket some were if i fix the factory im planing on a shift light on the dash. make a piece to go aropund the heater control's and were the radio go's to hold a radio and cover the big hole were one used to be. put a much smaller carb on it(600-700) to replace the 800 thats on it now. fix the obnixious header leak and last get some weld 5 stars to replace the ugly chrome mod's on it now and maybe a rachet shifter to top it all off

specs on that motor?

the p.o said two things once when he offered he said 350 4 bolt 60 over then when actually looking at the car with title in my hand he said 403  it move's regardless. it's also a premium fuel motor i tryed a little bit of plus to see and man did she not like it. has a smaller lift cam that has a little lope to the idle about like my camo truck did so i would guess ~ 480 lift has heddman hedders with some small body glass packs right off them edelbrock intake and 800cfm carb witch is way to much i would like to get a 650-700 edelbrock for it.

here's what i was thinking for rim's since im not a big rim guy and factory's wouldnt give the drag stance it has now i was thinking these to complement it

front

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLD-96-54272/ (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLD-96-54272/)

rear

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLD-96-58278/ (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLD-96-58278/)

and then maybe through some e.t. steets on the mods i have out back for some real fun ;D

also just looked up the o.e. alloy wheel's and for 85 there hidious but the 86-88 are pretty sexy

here are mine loll
