Title: boggers
Post by: 84silverado on September 16, 2011, 12:17:38 AM
ok so i was wondering today in school if i get these boggers ive been saving up for. would it be better to cut all 4 or just the back 2? they are 33's and will be on a 10 bolt axle, if this means anything to ya. just wondering what you guys would do cause i was thinking just the back 2 but suggestions are great

im just gunna beat the living piss outta the tires like i do my truck. so wear really isnt an issue but ive never heard of them wearing out faster, i always figured theyd wear less

that size with enough gear(3.73 +) a good mild 350 would work fine....

it should work..  33s are little tires I know 44 cut boggers will rob a ton of power!

save more money and go bigger  a full size truck on 33s   just sounds like a stuck fest  not to knock ya  i'm just happy your playing and havin fun.   dont cut them  your not racing  and your opening more tire surface up to more damage

the only reason i would cut  a bogger was if it was wore out and almost smooth then cut  it and get the full life u can out of it   and cut boggers bite so hard  u will be braking parts  with them   just my 2 cence

Don't cut them until the front lug edge is wore down then cut em but don't take too much out just the small lug and the front edge of the lug to to make it sharp again, if u just got with it cut up good if u put a whole in one don't worry bout it the make boots ane patches every day

i think you might need some bigger axles for 36's, maybe. depending on how u wheel.

i dont think ill do anything enough to break my axles. i believe theyll hold, even if i get smaller 35's. but if do. o'well, thats the name of the game. wheel and fix, then do it all over again lol  ;D

yea i got 2 hawgs to play with but most of the time they just stay in the back of the truck for spares. some times i put them on cause they are alil wider but they usually sit in the backand enjoy the ride haha

my buddy broke a lot of shafts with 35 baja claws which is a much less agressive tire then a bogger, when he was runnin half tons and stock 318
