i dont like the idea of it, the point of a Competition bog is to see who is the best, if u dont have the money to build a good truck dont build a truck that fits the rules for the high horsepower classes, its a competition, competition bog means to see who has built the best rig,if u dont like getting beat by the trucks that have lots of hp or money into them then dont run comp bogs they obviously are not for u stick to play bogs they fit anyones type truck
no rest for the wicked

well i guess if the high horsepower guys dont like it, then they could always find a different ''comp'' bog... i like the idea of letting the little guy be able to run. not everyone has the cash to build a big bad comp bogger like some. thats like saying, ''well since your poor, you dont get to run here.'' that seems a little ignorant to me...

just because someone might be poor doesnt mean they cant compete, they just shouldnt expect to win!

Lets look at from both sides guys.....

with the 9 second rule....anyone could possibly win...making it fun for all....pissing off the high hp guys being beat by somebody that had a stock truck.  I would think that the payout would be better for this type of race as  people have the chance to win.

without it..... little guys dont stand a chance....now the stock guys are pissed....def a good show with the high hp rigs....payout is the same as it is now......baddest truck wins for braggin rights....

I myself would try both types..( I have comp done comp bogs....points champ  big tire class at Orleans racewaya few years back )  why not do the nine second rule through the season.....then the last bog....do a king of the hill bog....biggest,baddest truck takes home the trophy for that bog....and have a 9 second rule season champ....everybody wins that way.... seems to me their is a pissin match going on by a few members saying if you cant compete in the comp bogs...your truck is a piece of p00...just remember we are all here to have fun....

Here in ga our local bog has it where everyone has a chance to win you get to passes the closest average wins. They run to tracks one is fast track and one is the bog pit. This way it dont matter if you run 4 seconds or 10. Consistent times win. Last weekend the winner ran 3.457 and 3.456 and second ran in the 7s.
