The goal of the 9 second breakout event is to come as close to 9 seconds without coming in under 9 seconds. Any times less than 9 seconds such as 8.998 will be disqualified for that run. We have live action timer scoreboards located at the end of each pit that can be seen by the driver easily during the run. This can be an aid for the driver to cut a close time. All street type, stock or hot street, and 4 and 6 cylinder trucks can run in the 200? pit. All of the modified, super modified, and unlimited trucks will run in the 250? pit. The pits will only have a maximum of 24 inches of mud in them. Since these are events and not races, the pits will be made hill and hole style and not hill and hole standard. The reasoning for the pit adjustments is to allow almost everyone to come out of the pits in the time allotted. The only pit grooming will take place half way through the event, after the first round of each pit. Each driver/truck combination entered will have 2 passes. It is the better of these two passes that will be scored.  A driver can place more than once if in a different truck, and the same truck with different drivers can place more than once.
Must have brakes and reverse

lee county did this back in march seems like good way to let slower trucks in the show. bad company ran that event think he said 8.70-9.30 the bad trucks can still make killer pass by waiting on line 4-5 seconds, might catch on up here as there were couple track owners-promoters @ that event from michigan I kinda like the idea that the slowest truck has shot @ the big money ;D

if your not susposed to break your truck why are new parts shiny:)driving hard racing car mudding trucks and killing buck.

homewrecker john

how would it work....do you get a couple of timed practice runs to know " how long you have sit at the line" ?? I dont think i would have to sit, but just saying.

roodawakening

i think you get 2 pass if you dont like your first time then you run you 2 pass but then your stuck with the 2 pass that would depend on the amount of trucks that are runing  make sure all trucks get ther first pass in. i like it would like to see it happen around hear.

i think if this was to work some of  those rules could be modified so everyone would beable to run .
i guess someone putting on a comp run this year would step up and just do it and see how it goes.
the big thing about it is no classing trucks everybody runs the same class the more entries the more pay out and anyone has a chance to win.
going to comp boggs that you no your not going to have a chance to win is the reason alot of guys would rather play bogg.
the pits that are so deep that couple trucks with big $ in motors is the only ones that make it sucks . when i heard about this ithought it was new way .
coming soon big blown 10....

might be better for the racers, but i think the spectators will like the old way better.

i love watching adrenaline bust through the wall of mud, watching every truck not get stuck all day sounds boring to me.
