how do ya adjust the vacum modulator? do ya got to buy one or are the stock ones adjustable? hmmm.. if i plugged off the vacum modulator will it stay in first gear?

It'll shift really late and very hard....  vacuum modulator senses the load the engine is under.

BAD APPLE

If you don't want it to shift at all pull the gov gear out grind the teeth of and put it back in and away you go had to do that with my toyota didn't have enough power to run 2nd and couldn't get it to stay in 1st and I had no money at the time and it was a simple solution
no rest for the wicked

did it ,works great super easy. every thing works as normal .when you pull it into 1st it will  stay as long as you want ,i would not mess with any thing else if it aint broke don't fix it
