thats the irony... me either..lol i guess i will find out though... the guy i bought it from said it had a built 400 sbc with holley fuel injection. he bought it from an estate sale and they did mud drags... he also told me that before he pulled the motor he drove it on his property and it was just balls out crazy. he said all 4 tires would roast on dry pavement, hence thats why i have to put in a ring and pinion in the front. but it has a full cage, th-400, dana 20 t case, 3 shocks on every corner, alot of aluminum in various places, somebody dumped alot of money here, with a purpose, i dont know the purpose other that some redneck with alot of money got bored, but still. i guess i will find out if it is junk or not...

best i can see from the pics it looks to be some type of elliptical set up. been using that for racing for years and now rock crawling

It looks like a rough looking elliptical set up to me too. You don't see them much any more. I'd run it. See if you like it.

This thing does bounce ya around but it is.a.blast. i have other trucks and mud trucks but the experience is having nk glass or roof, etc... its a blast and it works quite well. The low 5.89 gears just make it crawl through. But the trans crossover is kinda low and im thinking of re doing a few things this winter.
