it all about how you set the hole truck up  i had a cj7 44 front&14 rear 500 ish hp 3 year on front axle with 40 boggers  now  i have cj7 with rocks &tractors tires it weighs less than old cj with shaving all weight i could

I say 1 tons for 44 look at twisted and racing jason and all them comp guys over 1000 hp and super cut 44s and they hold up most of the time...


none of them run rocks... must be they can go faster on 1 tons!

ya these trucks run straight through slop not cross ruts at a backyard bog. and ohearn your right why buy  corp axles when you can get rocks that cheap. sounds like no brainer. and if the DON is willing to show you anything about them take him up on it.
