ticketed for marijuana, I'd fight it but be carefull, marijuana is still federally illegal so they can and do still walk in arrest you and put you in federal prison for possession whether you have the state card or not.

I read this over a couple times probably missed it somewhere but wont your insurance pay for damages and towing? You said it wasnt paid off yet so that means you had to have full coverage right?

I had a 7411 and was on probation for a year, supervised.  But it was b4 medical use was legal.  But when on probation yer order will state not to break ANY laws, which means fedaral also, which would mean no smokey smoke.  And 7411 just takes it off yer record when yer done with probation, and only good once (usually).  And good thing that u had a perscriprion for the vicodin.

i spoke to the judge about it, (medical marijuana) and he said it since i had all the documentation for it, he would allow me to still smoke, since i do have a viable reason for having it, it controls my depression (was hooked on xanax for over 2 years, the withdrawls were horrible and the doctor told me to try marijuana) so the judge sees that as being okay and is in my record, i think thats why i got unsupervised because they didnt wanna make me drop anyway, and maybe the different counties we live in make a big difference, some judges are nice, others not so much.

yeah the vicodin were stupidly not in the bottle, they were just in a baggy, but i did have the script for them and they were actually legit too, not ones that i bought and just still had the old perscription i had for them.

but i think the fact that i had my legal card is what made the diffence in the out come of our cases.


lilred: the person i owed money on it was my brother n he wasnt wasnt concerned with me having full coverage on it as he knew he would get his money either way.



summary: since everything was legit, friday afternoon, i was sentenced to 6 months Unsupervised probation, no drops, and ordered to take a BDIC class to keep the 2 points off my license, the probation the judge said was just to ensure that i didnt make any trouble, and he doesnt wanna see me back in there otherwise it would be handled like a federal case ect ect, he said as much as he doesnt agree with mi medical marijuana, he has to rule as if it law, since it is the law in michigan. but one more mistake on my part and it will be federal not state, meaning not so lucky.
