this really bugs me, last summer me and my buddies were at the mounds going through trails there was four trucks and we came upon this guy coming twards us and common sense would tell me if i was one truck to get out of the way but he diddnt and all four of us had to back down the trail to a open spot so he could get buy. then when we went back by were we stoped there was a opening in the trail about 15 feet behind him.  applaudd smooth move guy. common sense sorry if you are in a hurry but it would have been quicker if you would have backed up in to that open spot. i run into this all the time come on people common sense GotMud?

I would have thanked him, for showing you a NEW version of the same trail!! And apparently he couldn't do that trail backwards like you did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't do backwards very well on tight trails.  I usually just run over the guy in front of me.

I know what you are saying.  When I am on a tight trail either with the Metro or the Tracker I expect both parties to show courtesy.  I  try to make as much room for the other party as I can and be safe.  I have no problem backing up to let a fellow trail rider through, we're all just trying to have fun.  Just roll with the punches, next time just slide over if you can or back up if needed.  Most people on the trails offer common courtesy, but like life, some people are just pricks.

yep, what he said.....

its one of those times when you just ignore people like that and move on.....dont worry about, dont get pissy about it, just move on and continue to have fun....if you keep complaining about "that guy" its going to ruin your day and you wont have any fun

No matter what you do in life and how far you go, There's always someone that wants to see you fall.

I drive a huge 800cc ATV and will ALWAYS be the one to back up for the pick-up trucks because I like to get along with folks and its much easier for ME to move my ATV than it is for you guys with PU trucks.

I ran into this last year.......

I was on a directional trail going the CORRECT direction down a steep rocky sectoion where only 3 wheels of my truck were on the ground and stopping really was not an option.....once you started you were commited to the ride for better or worse......when some jacka$$ came up the trail the wrong direction and stopped at the bottom of the section i wasd coming down and just sat there...........I honked at him to let him know I was not stopping and he just gave me a blank stare.......luckily I was able to drive off the trail (something I am against as it does not conform with treading lightly.....but deperate times call for desperate measures) and around him.......I got out of my truck and confronted him about it NICELY once I was in a safe stopping area..........all he could say was it looked like a cool trail to go up and he did not care that it was directiional and could not understand why I was getting upset...

Some people's kid's I tell you.........
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways – pale ale in one hand - chocolate in the other – body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO, What a Ride!

It was at superlift OHV park in Hot Springs Arkansas.

I actually thought of this topic last weekend......I was In Tellico (down in Murphy NC).......ther trails are tight, multi directional and are litterally on the side of a mountain (I.E.........very long drop if you go off the edge)..........You had to be willing to get out of people's way there casue if you didn't there was no way around LOL
