what do you guys think about driveshaft loops????

ouch i don't have them but if you r goin to lots of  horse power under the hood i think you would be crazy not to use them

A have a friend whos girlfriend was killed when his cutlass blew the front u-joint on the rear driveshaft. The drive shaft caught the road somehow and the car flipped. Happened a long time ago but its a good lesson.

since my last post, i put mine on the rear. Saved my butt twice now. Well worth the time to put it on.

had a front shaft let go on a '93 dakota biggest peice of the t-case i could find was about the size of a soft ball, tore up tranny lines, fuel lines,went through the floor, so ya good idea!! gotta build myself one when it warms up!!

ok but on gmc2.5 tons i was wanting, monster truck looking ones but hows it attach to the axle?
and sould i have 1 inbetween my 2 tranfers its only like 8'' of driveshaft.

probably going to have mount it to the rock somehow.....ill take pics of mine once i get my truck back from WTF fab.  I gotta figure some thing out too......ill keep ya posted!

Every drive shaft should have one.  I had them on my old truck front and rear but haven't fabbed some up for "Twitchy" or "Feel'in Froggy" yet

I had mine at the rear yolk on the jeep... I figured if it snapped at the tcase ( only on a bogger) that it wouldnt  rotate to many times as with out the rear digging i would know something broke and let off.
