I've been blessed with my parents bad cholesterol, it was 325 2 years ago, But the normal meds for this dont work on me, (too many side effects), now I take 1500 mg of Niaspan (3   500mg pills a night).  Its working slowly but its coming down. The last time It was checked in March it was 210.
