chromoly vs aluminum 4-link

which is better? saw a thing on TRUCKS(spike tv) the other day and they were using aluminum instead of chromoly for thier 4-link setup. any ideas or info on this?? ???

its the higher grade of aluminum, some 60xx # i think, which = $$$

okay cool, thanks everyone i was wondering what to make my next 4-link out of. anyone have ideas on where to get chromoly cheap that will accept 1"  heim joints?

the alum is for looks not use, its for the rich punk wanabe mudder

well my dad puts chrome-moly roll cages in race cars, not aluminum. look at speedwaymotors.com for the heims if you dont have them yet. cheap but good

"rich punk wannabe mudder?" i am the complete opposite. i just took a student loan because i am tired of always bouncing around. and i want to do the suspension right this time. $8 an hour at a construction company definately doesn't make me a rich punk. i work hard as hell for my money i want my truck to be setup right this time. saw that on tv, and was just wondering about it.

for the AL- 7075-T6 solid bar, as the aluminum tube would give way too easy

i apologize, i misinterpreted what he was saying. i apologize for that.  i would like to do the lift because it is strictly for off-road use. it will never see the road. (i can't afford the insurance) my tow rig is my daily driver. lol

id go with steel myself, alot stronger in my opinion,BTW i edited BMHs post, (The way he post stuff, it looked like he was callin him a rich punk wannabe mudder?", broncomudhead needs to read what he post before he post ..... )  ;)

stuff I am using is 1.750 OD  1.250 ID  DOM tube and it's close to $10.00 a foot
chromoly is even more
