get 4.10s. if you decide to get bigger tires, then goto 4.56s or 4.88s

Closer to $500. Two sets of gears and two install kits. Plus however much you get charged for the install.

If your tires measure 35 inches. 4.56 will put you back to about your stock rpm range and power

GRABBER-GREEN MACHINES

ROCK

id say 4.10s for 35s, 4.56s for 38s, 4.88/5.13 for 44+

do you have 3/4 ton axles? you can always upgrade to bigger axles, they usually have lower gears anyway,410 being the norm. it may be cheaper in the long run to buy a set of used axles for as little as 300 bucks, front and rears.

Exactly what OC said,

BUY A SET of heavy 3/4 ton axles..........300.00 is alot cheaper than buyin new ring gears, and having them installed.....................but you will need to buy 8 lug rims

Plus you'll have much stronger axles that will be able to handle the tires and horsepower your truck is running.

You'd want a 14 bolt full floater from a Pre 1980 chevy 3/4 ton.......and front 10 bolt or dana 44 axle from same year.............just make sure axle ratios match.
