2000 silverado wont start then will wtf?!

my voltage was jumping around on my dash when i was pulling into 7-11 tonight. i shut the truck off and went inside. i came out and tried to start it and it was dead. then waited a few minutes and it was fine. the truck was running weird on the way home and almost died on the way home a couple times. new alternator and coils. newer battery but a cheap off brand. any ideas??? please help me out it is my dd!!!!!!!!!!!

as RD said, check grounds... make sure battery connections are CLEAN and TIGHT

i checked leads to battery and they were tight and clean. but i noticed after i was messin with the battery and got acid on my hand so i think i need to go that route but keep the ideas coming i got a flashlight and an energy drink get er done!!!

the only way i knew i had the acid on my hand, i put a dip in and my lip started to burn instantly lol. i don't think i would have noticed on my hand until my flesh was falling off. lol

IT WAS DARK HEAD LITE WIRES  TAIL LITE   EVEN TOW  HARNESS   RUB FOR GROUNDING     NOT JUST THE MOTOR END
   BUT THE FUEL PUMP RUNS FROM THE VOLTS YOU ARE LOSEING

okay i have to figure this out soon i have a wedding tomorrow @3 and it is a 2 hour drive!!! it has to be done tonight lol

FIXED!!!! made it to the wedding. the battery box was cracked and acid was leaking out the side. lol
