I have a small energy-efficent electric space heater that I've turned on a couple times to take the chill out other than that its wear a sweatshirt.

I had a small fire last night didnt want the kid to be cold!

I let the g/f kick it on for one cycle in the morning to knock off the chill. Otherwise, off most of the winter! I am the Propane Nazi around here!

stared wood burner up for the first time a last week, been burning at night to keep the house warm

Nope we are still sleeping with the window open and the celing fan on.  The fan will stay on all winter.  And then when the furnace does come on it is set at 64.  The only reason we do this is because of my job.  At work we have to keep the computers cool so the control room will get no warmer the 65 degrees.  So I got use to keep the temp low and keep it like that here also.

turned it on last night for the little one......But it has been sitting at 68-70 degrees and hardly comes on....

used the fireplace, ordered 30 cord of wood! the furnace isnt comin on this year!
