well I had a good paying job until today. I thought everything was going good but when i got to work today( half hour drive in my 12mpg truck) I was laid off. oh well i didnt like my supervisor anyway. but now i have to find a job that pays close to what I was getting.

thanks everyone. times are hard I thought everything was going good there. my supervisor didnt say anything that would make me think i was getting the boot. just showed up for work and bam a punch in the face. they say i was laid off but i'm pretty sure its there way of firing me. the night super and i didnt get along. He never left me alone about anything. I would help the guy next to me and i would get yelled at for helping him. or stuff like that. I was always looking over my shoulder waiting for him to be there to yell at me for something.

thats a definate plus. i work for H&R Block and they told me in april id only be laid off for 8 weeks and up till this year it WAS only 8 weeks. (seasonal job). here it is october and im still laid off, looking at november before i go back. times are tough in michigan right now, seems like everyone atleast knows a couple people that is out of a job or laid off...pathetic if you ask me
