need advice

my last two payroll checks from my empolyer have bounced after depositing them into my account ,who should I contact about this, I have read that the better buisness bureau is no help,is'nt it illegal for an employer to issue a non sufficent funds check just as it would be for me?

I assume your employer already knows. I'd call the police non-emergency number. They could probably direct you to a fraud specialist. I'd also contact the BBB even if they can't help you right away.

any check that is writen over $50.  is a  fellony.     ask him to make it right ,   or  you will contact the police.  and  add in you  over limit charges to,  he  created.

I could see letting it go if it happend one time, but the second time its on......thats complete bull ......I would def. go straight to the cops.....IDK about you, but it really screw's me if i dont get my checks.....

mudbrat is right, call the labor board they will get it fixed, my employer had a problem doing this, wasnt back to back but every couple weeks id get a check that bounced and one time i was really relying on the money being good it wasnt and lost more than that weeks check and i was able to sue him for the differance ect. needless to say i did that got it fixed and quit working for him but anyways they will help you out, its not a long process its well worth it

i ran a business with a guy and he pulled the same and i never did end up getting my money he still owes me thousands of dollars and never will see it i would call wage an hour  and then i would beat the piss outta him

damn I forgot about this post, for now everything with me is resolved, got my money, just told em I was'nt gonna do any more jobs till I got my money,my son works there also he cashes his checks at the local party store, well till one bounced, we have been in contact with the store owner and he has started prosicution towards the company we work for  , we install garage doors 8 hours a day 5 days a week so the money is comeing in and there should be no reason for the problems , I have been working there for 10 years so I didnt really want to cause any problems myself (even though there causeing problems for me) but if it happens again I will contact the labor board without hesitation, im not the kinda person to take revenge as in kicking some butt or drageing a key/hammer down the side of his 2007 dodge hemi truck, it's just not worth going to jail over, there's a saying, dont let someone elses stupidity take away your freedom, but anyway thanks for the replies, hopefully there are'nt anymore problems with my money.

glad to hear you got it all taken care of, i was mad when a similar situation happened to me, but i got compensated a whole year salary cause he fired me without cause and i went back to the labor board and he had to pay me for a year even if i got another job he still had to pay, so i guess it is kind of a nice thing, it sucked having to go to court 3 times over the samething of not being able to cash my checks cause they were ne ver good.
