suspended license

i got a parking ticket awhile back and we have been so tight on money, we havent gotten around to paying it. anyways, they sent me a letter today saying that my license is suspended. wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen. we just got a check we have been waiting for so im going to go pay it tomorrow, but none the less, when i pay it, will they unsuspend my license right then or have i got more fees to pay?

you will have to go to sos and pay a reinstatement fee on top of that. another $125.00 im not sure on anything else.

Thanks for the info. dossows has been putting off one of his detroit ticket.. I better tell him to go pay it monday.. I got a letter today from them. it states, failure to pay will result in the suspension of your driving priv.. 56 days later subject to 20% late penatly..

Yes, you might have to pay restatement to SoS.

this oculd cause a prob with your CDL tony you need to check with sos when you go down and pay the reinstatement fee last time i got mine reinstated I ended up paying over 5grand but that wasnt for a parkin ticket lol

if you get down there quick enough the suspension dont get to the sos and you can avoid the problem. otherwise you will have to pay a 125 fee and you might lose your cdl for 3 years

well it wasnt me that got the ticket, it was my girlfriend in her brothers car so his license was the one in jeopardy. what happened was he got a letter that said if its not paid his license will get suspended and it scared him so he called my girlfriend freaking out saying his license is suspended and what not. anyways, its all taken care of not, i just didnt want to go through the whole explanation at the time when i made the post, but none the less, its all fixed now!
