Ham and Cheese Omelet, Hashbrowns and bacon

Dixie's Cafe (closed down now) had my favorite. Southern Skillet- layer of crispy fried hash browns, topped with a layer of scrambled eggs, topped with a layer of bacon, all smothered with a HEAPING helping of sausage gravy. YUMMMM!!! They made all their food from scratch the old school way. Better than homemade for me (my mom could burn water).

thats mine to but i used to get it from a little dinner here in davison that is now closed also (bummer) they called it there country skillet.

I LOVE biscuits and gravy! But I don't like ordering them at a resturant, not as good as mine

my grandmas home made biscut and gravy, fried potatoes, eggs over easy, bacon, side of grape jelly, maybe some fried apples... damn i am hungary now !!!
