Kerosene?

Anyone know if the Kerosene they sell from the pump at meijer gas stations is K1 or K2? I called them and even the lady working there dont know. I cant find any info online either.

k1 is low sulphur for use in kerosene heaters and lamps.

i'm pretty sure they run a k1 kerosene pump, most of the pumps around here use little lables on the pumps itself to state what grade it is, i know meijers in michigan city indiana sells k1. hope this helps

i've used both in heaters, and they both work just fine BUT it should say on the pump

well i knew one is pinkish color  which is good for indoor and regular color would be good for outdoor stuff like garage  etc

we use home-ade bio-diesel to burn in a heater it doesnt give off half the fumes!!
