OK, Im doing my own S.A.S. on a 1994 GMC Jimmy.  I've messed with lots of lifted 4x4's and suspention systems, but never built my own spring hangers or shacke mounts on a truck that was not factory leaf springs,YET.  I am doing so now, and my questions are...  Will longer shackels weekin my suspention?  What are the pros and cons of using a longer shackle?  Im thinking I need to use a longer shackle to match up with my drop mounts in the front and get the lil extra lift.  Also what should my shackle angles be when the truck is on its own weight?  Any help would be great!!!  Thanx again!!!

mine are abour 3inches longer than stock. but when you flex it will pull more on your drive shaft. so make sure you have alot of travel in your slip joint on the drive shaft
