I have the A/T's right now and cant complain...I think the tread design is better then BFG A/T and they did great in the snow unlike the bfg's I had on a pickup a few years ago. The Mastercraft is made by Cooper and the M/T looks like the discontinued SST and I loved those tires they cleaned out great in sticky thick mud and they was tough as nails when it came to sharp objects. I am looking at getting the M/T's soon, was quoted $660 mounted and balanced for 4 285 75 16's from our local cooper dealer. The new STT lookes more like the Goodyear MTR and is a few hundred more. Also the BFG M/T was $800 something for the same size at discount tire.

Ive used evrything from winston winners (bfg at ripoffs) to ground hawgs.  Depends on what you're using them for.  Ground Hawgs and swampers work great for off road only.  On the street however, they wear very quickly and don't have the best manners being bias ply and having such a soft compound.  BFG AT's and MT's are great tires.  They work very well off road and on the street.  Some of your lesser brands are great also.   I'm currently running Wild Coutry RVT's and love them.  They were cheap and work great on and off road.  Too soon to tell about wear but probably a 30K mile tire.

Hammerlane

I use the round ones as much as possible..
occasionally I will use one thats flat on one side but it interferes with the steering,
fuel mileage and attainable top speeds.
