This is something that I have started to get into in the last few years.  I have had amazing turn arounds on vehicles that looked completely horrible before.  If you have a vehicle that you would like a professional exerior detail job done on, post in here or PM me.

I can tell you right now, you simply will not be dissapointed with my work, and I will keep working on it until I am happy with it.

I only do exterior right now - wheels, tires, wheel wells, and paint.

All exterior detailing includes wash, clay bar, polish, and wax or sealant.  You have a few choices on that also.

Single stage polish - Very light cut polish.  Gets rid of oxidation and light swirls / scratches.  Cheapest route, will look very good.
Two stage polish - Starts with a medium cut polish and gets finished with the light cut polish.  Will eliminate most swirls and scratches, but some deeper defects will still remain.  Looks amazing!
Three stage polish - Starts with a compound / heavy cut polish, then gets finished off with the medium cut then light cut.  This will leave your paint about 95% defect and blemish free.  You will have a razor sharp reflection that looks like the paint was just sprayed.  This will likely make your car look better then you have ever seen it!

You also have your choice of topper.

Carnauba wax - This is a true wax and will leave your paint looking like it is a mile deep.  This will give you the wettest, deepest, warm glossy look.  Downside is that a true 100% wax will only last a few weeks to a month.  Because the wax is more expensive to buy and use per coat, it will cost an additional $5 or $10 depending on what wax you choose.
Sealant - This is basically a synthetic wax.  This will also make your paint look fantastic, and to be honest with you, many people will not be able to tell the difference.  The benefit of a sealant is that it lasts for up to six months.  This is honestly what most people will want to use, and will be the normal topper unless you would prefer a true carnauba wax.

If you are wondering, here are some of the products I use..

Compound / heavy cut polish - Menzerna Power Gloss Compound
Medium cut polish - Menzerna Super Intensive Polish
Light cut polish - Menzerna Nano Polish

Sealant - Meguiar's #21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0
Carnauba wax - Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax
Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax

NOW, on to a few samples of my work.

This link will take you to my thread in a detailing forum that I have learned a lot from.  It is of a '03 Ford Escape that was in terrible shape. ( three stage polish with sealant )  >> Ford Escape detail thread

My friends '05 Cadillac CTS ( two stage polish with sealant topped with carnauba wax )

Here is my '93 Bonneville with 200,000 + miles on it

You can bring your vehicle to me, or I can come to you.  All I need is some shade ( garage or pole barn prefered ) water hookup, and electrical hookup.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Thanks for looking

I do still detail, but I don't have much time right now.  I have two issues with doing a job right now, #1 I have to cut wood for the winter, and #2 I don't have a garage to do the work in.

I also do interiors now as well.

I may have some time this Saturday to come out and do some work.  I will have to see the truck in person first to see how much work it needs before I give a quote.  If nothing else, I will grab all my detailing goodies and head out Saturday morning and check it out then give a quote.  If you want to go with that, I will do it up, if not, no big deal :)

Here is an example of one of the interiors I have done this summer....
Here is what I did

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention to arrivre safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in completely sideways, tires smokin, motor knockin, busted glass, and bent fenders, loudly yelling "wow what a f%$#&n ride"

Absolutely still detailing.  Just waiting for weather nice enough to do the work LOL  Three stage polish on a full size truck would likely take me about 8 - 10 hours, so figure about $200 for the work, plus another $30 for travel / gas.  Not cheap, but if you want the best, here it is  8)

Let me know, I may have time to do it this weekend if you want, weather permitting of course unless you have a garage.

Whenever you want, just let me know a week or so ahead of time so I can make sure I can do it when you have the time.
