Should be going to get the trans this week and just picked up a D60 front.  Got a line on some 456 gears for it to match the rear.  Going to be a whole new truck when it hits the mud.  Might even have a set of uprights in its future. ;D

Thought about it.  I might just to see the difference.  Switching to the aluminum 208 case and I'm scared it will blow apart like it did on "Big Blue" and that had the same gears front and rear.  I know that was ALOT heavier but still might look for a 205 as a spare.

Where did you get your not so mendral bent headers? 208 is still rockin in voodoo. No problems yet.

It's been running. I'm just upgrading everything before it hits the mud again. New or different motor, trans, case, axles, gears so far.

what was a good deal schoenfelds are 189 and come with gaskets and bolts and they are mandrel bent them dec headers kill power
