Well picked up another trans and got it back in the truck ready to go.  Working on getting the radiator mounted in the back and all the coolant pipes ran to the back.  Picked up a 4 core aluminum 31"x19" and a permacool aluminum blade electric fan.  Rewire a few things and I'll be back in the saddle again.  Hopefully.

radiator is in and plumbed.  Working on putting some sheet metal in the back to protect it.  Got to hook up the trans cooler and fab up some new headers since I didn't like the old ones.  Hopeing to be able to go straight through the hood wth them.

looking good chris, what all you have left to do?

Custom fab new headers for it and run the trans lines and put on the trans cooler and front drive shaft.  O yeah and the torque converter bolts.

73chevytruck

i got my torque converter bolts at autozone when i got them, like 8 bucks and they had them in stock.

make your self some up rights, lol

Gonna try for some uprights but I have to Custom fab them with the steering where it is.  Not having the radiator up front anymore made more room so I think I can get away with it.

Chevy Racer

didn't go upright with the headers but they are made and look a lot better than the other ones I made.

im guessin that little fan is not gonna do the trick

That thing moves some air.  Permacool.  Getting all the air out of the motor is whats giving me a headache.

Ready or not it will be there.  Even if I have to bog it with air in the cooling system it will take longer to over heat it than it will for me to blow the pit.  LOL  Hopefully.

84Chevy

maybe enclose that radiator or something?? just posting my opinion..  get a shroud on the back side...

go to the parts store chris, get  some 5/16 weld in bungs, and weld one at the front of the pipeing by the water pump, and one at the rear,  thats about the only possable way to get all of the air out of the cooling system, a couple of my biddies did that whnen they rear mounted there rads and they dont have a cooling problem anymore, all you need are 2 bleeders one up front and one at the rear...
