16.5 Hummer tires VS. 16 inch wheels

This is probably a dumb question but will 16.5" goodyear hummer tires fit on a 16 inch wheel "safely"

Won't work. You can get the tire on the rim but I've heard horror stories of the tires blowing past the bead like a rocket. Also, if you air down it will pretty much instantly debead itself. I've got a set of 7" wide rims to fit that chevy of yours you could mount some on. Normally they call for 8" or bigger, but I'll make you a deal.

And RD is absolutely right. Like has been said before, the only dumb question is one that doesn't get asked.

absilutly not don't even try they say on the tires "Do not mount on 16" rims" they will probobly come off the bead while you are airing them up and could seriously hurt you, and if they don't come off then, then they WILL come off going down the road.................................
