Power windows on 89/91 Broncos

Is there a trick to getting ford power windows to work properly/ Have 91 Bronco that I believe the gear was stripped so I got a door off 89 Bronco and it sounds like the moter is strong but again the window will not go up. The window was down when I got it so I pulled it up by hand, does that mean I have to realign the gears to mesh or what? Appreciate any help on this. pm me. Thanks

sounds like my 94.. pass window wont go up on its own.. gotta help it up
