Starting my truck without the clutch pushed in?

How do I make it so my 93 F-150 will start without pushing in the clutch? I need to get it on my trailer and using the starter to limp it on is easier than using a come-a-long. I've done it with my jeep several times, but my truck wont start without the clutch pushed in.

unplug saftey switch on clutch pedel & put a jumper wire on it, (where switch was plugged in at)
ive done it in the past when saftey switch has gone bad on older rides  hope this helps...

in my k1500 i raped elctrical tap arond the swich wtih it was depresed so it think tinks the pedles down all the time
