ok jeep is not running again

well i went to the mounds saturday and was having a ball. then it dies. so i go to figure it out and the fuel pumps is not working. so i figure its bad or a wire shorted out so when i get it home i wire the fuel pump to a toggle. well that works but it will not fire up still. i get fuel to the rail 40 psi. stays there when you crank it. i'm getting spark to the plugs. when i pull the plugs i dont see any fuel what so ever. i dump fuel in the intake is spits and spudders. but thats it. now it will still spit and spudder without me having to put fuel in the intake. so anyone know why its doing this. My thoughts bad fuel filter or weak pump(i know 40 psi thou). or are the injectors not firing. so how do i check the injectors? but if the injectors are bad then why will it try to start? so any ideas shoot them at me I'll try anything.

pull the injector clip off the injector and jump it with a small light bulb see if your getting the injectors to fire consistently sounds like there not all firing i forget if jeeps are batch or sequential fire.

looks like the injectors are not firing. check them with a test light and no light so i pulled the rail. and no fuel spray

well i got it to run again. dont know how long thou. something with the fuel relay so i took it out and just ran wire to what needed power and it works
