whats the diff between these trans

what is the difference between a 350 trans that has a K on the bellhousing vs one that doesnt. i seen a post of 2 on here of people looking for ones with a K but i think everyone 350 trans ive see doesnt have one. just curious what the difference is

K case also has a thicker bellhousing where the bolts go through

some chevys had a c stamp most were slip yoke style
