any help on dana 70 install

i just bought 1986 dana 70 out of a w-350 dodge i noticed that it had factory lift blocks, im installin under my 78 k5 frame any help please , shock mounts? do i use the 1\2 ton u bolt plate or do i use the 1 on the dana70, basically i have never dun this before and any help tip and tricks would be appeicated, thanks

You'll need to fab up a set of shock mounts. I usually cut them off from the original axle. You will also need to use the spring plates and U bolts that came with the 70. Depending on your drive shaft you may also have to change the yoke to a 1310. No you won't have to use the factory lift blocks.
