I'm looking at lift kits, and tire size is confusing me a bit. A stock 87 K2500 came with 31 inch tires, now does anyone know what you can put basically tire size inch per lift kit inch if you can relate those two?

different body styles change that ratio        cause of fender well shape

what r u lookin at will help people tell you              you still have leafs all the way around    any body lift
3 in  will but 35s under it           r  u going to wheel it or dd       you got the flex   wider tire rim off set
not tryin to confuse you       just don't know what you want

Going to have most likely 12 inch suspension, and maybe 2 inch body. So total 14, not sure how big of a tire I can go for height, not width, the biggest I'd go for width would be MAYBE 14.

well   14 keeps you at a 38 or smaller on tread width   with that much lift you could run up ta 44s          now
thats puts you into gear ratio and motor size                 i assume 14 width is rim size not tire
if wheelin  it you can put 44s on a 10 "  rim    i got my 44s 16.5  on a 8"  rim          this makes them tall not so wide for bit       not recomended    this is how i got them       i do have a pair of 12" fronts needs 2 new bushings   i just got the other 2   375.00

Only working with a 350 tbi stock for now, and 4.10s. But not sure how big on gears I'd have to go. Definitely just a weekend warrior, this will be trailored by another truck. I'm thinking I'd like to go about 40s, 44s are HUGE. Will get a 454 much further down the road. It's a 2500, so I'm pretty sure the axles can stay.

ok   40   is a great place to be   with a 2500   its not a 60   40s should let you wheel hard and long     its a weight to power and rotating mass thing        low range   t case   you will have plenty of height and enough to spinn the wheels     with the 350

Know who makes the strongest U-Joints? I'd rather be safe than really really sorry lol.
