94 4cyl jeep top end knock

Little motor has a knock that knocks after the engine is warm and only knocks on the up rev.  Sound like it is coming from under the valve cover,   any one have any familiarity with this.

I have a 93 jeep with a 4cyl and it has a bad lifter noise when it gets warmed up.. There's no way to adjust the rocker's either..Mine's been ticking for 2 year's. I dont want to rebuild mine so i am going to drive it till it goes BOOM.
  Any one have any idea's let us know..
