Depends on the year of the transmissions  but I would say no most of the splines are differant from trans. to trans. as far as changing anything the only thing you will need to change is the input shaft in the t-case to match the splines on the trans. you may also need a adapter plate for the automatic trans if you donot have one that will be differant too.

1969-1980 GM 4spd NP205 spline count is 10,

1981-91 GM SM465 4spd spline was changed to a long shaft 32 spline

1970-1980 350 turbo 4x4 trans..........27 spline .......350's used in these years are short shaft and will only work with 205's or 203's.

1977-91 400 turbo...........32 spline (the 77-80 models are short shaft and will only work with Np203 & 205's).........81-up will work with Np208 and (Np205's used in 1 ton K30 models)

1981 350 turbo 4x4 trans....27 spline....very rare to find.......this has the longer shaft and was used only 1 year with the Np208 T-case.

1982-91 700R4..........27 spline.........same spline count as 350 turbo. 700r4 had the Np208 behind it........and Np241 also.

You can make any T-case bolt up to any trans if you have an adaptor made for it.....which might cost as much money as finding the correct spline T-case that you need.
