No...they are still in business. If I cant get spicers locally anyone know of a u joint that is comparable in strength? I called napa and they cant get them for my truck? But they have some life time u joints made in the USA for $35 a piece.

Thats what I am looking for is the axle u joints...who sells the precision? I was looking at OX (BAD MO FO's) But they are like $180 a piece...screw that!

umm.. AutoValue ;D haha, you prolly need (part number) PRE 317 but double check with them, u could need a PRE 353 those are the 2 most popluar, and the 534 but i think thats ford. I like them because the grease fiting is in the end of the cap, alot easyer to maintain. Plus lifetime warenty w/ recipt

Those your looking at about 14-15 buxs a piece.

not sure how far away you are from bay city, but joint clutch and gear sells spicer joints.  the part number that you need for the axle shaft u joints is 5-760x.  i just picked up 2 for my truck yesterday.

Is this for the Blazer in your avatar?

If so... go with the lifetime ones from wherever.

If its a daily driver, get the ones with the grease fittings.  If not a daily driver get the ones with out the grease fitting as they are stronger.

I used to use the cheapy life time ones on my CJ7 with 35 Boggers and a big block.  Worked just fine.  Broke a couple... but the axle shaft went and took out the joint.

My store of choice at the time was AutoZone.

No, if this is for soemthing with a lot of power and larger tires... pay the money and get the best you are willing to spend the money on.
In need of a yank strap?  PM me... I have 'em!

Clydes Frame and Wheel just put Spicer U-joints in my newly lengthened drive shaft for my Blazer. April 1st actually. They are in Pontiac Michigan.
