the only problem with extra parts is how sure are you that they are good?    its nice if you can pull them off of a running engine temporarly cause then ya can go.. it just worked on that one.. lol.

Yea they were parts given to me. When I got the cap off the coil looked new? Well to make a long story short I still have no spark at the plugs.....

Test light would work wonders but availabilty is the problem

What would I test-power to the module -power to the coil?

Or should I just start pricing for a new or working unit?

I replaced the distributor with one that had worked, put a ground in from the engine to the frame and adjusted the timing a little. Finally it fired!
