i just swapped out the 208 t case in my 82 chevy for a 241 out of a 90 suburban.  now i noticed on the back  i cant hook up my speedo cable seeing as the 241 has an electric connection where the cable would normally go.   jsut curious if there is a way to make my speedo work on the truck or no.  i dont run it on the road very often  except for up to 61 trail riding.  so its not that big of a deal if it dont work  but i figured id see if there is a way to make it work.

thanks

i think all you need to do is take the sender off, take tail housing off and exchange the reluctor wheel for a speedo gear. and install a speedo cable housing with the right gear. idk for certain but i think it would work

I know if it were the other way around you could mount a mech-elect converter but I don't know about your version. ??? Somebody's gotta make a kit or something.
