I Got So Mad at Gladwin Today...

I was so mad today. The bog rocked but I kept hearing people complaining about having to pay $5 and other people that just drove right past the guy who was trying to collect. That's such a crock. Mudlight and the guys put on a helluva bog. I gave $10 on the way in just to help out and show my gratitude for the nice digs. I hate it when people take something for granted like that. Really burned my ass! Thanks again all those who put this thing on! Great tim!

You simply can not go anywhere and get that amount of good clean/dirty fun and family entertainment for $5

For what it is worth, everywhere I looked people were smiling and having a great time!

$5 can get you a hot-n-ready or a footlong... maybe rent a movie or payperview..
but for an entire day of outdoor, family-friendly fun, $5 is a great deal!

I didnt go this year, but I paid 5 bucks last year,.... it was well worth it to me.............The peaple who put on this event take time out of their schedule, to plan, and carry out this event.  I dont think asking for a donation is asking too much. Hope everybody who went had a good time, I wish I could have made it up there.

i was happy at $5 but i broke the motor  , a drive shaft and front leaf springs in my jeep  thats fun to me haha .  my grandma had a blast bogen my dd with 5 great grandkids thats price less at 74 yrs  young

I chipped in $10 and I was only there for about 2 hours.  Nice bog will plan on going again.  Around my area a lot of the little local bogs are getting shut down because of people bitching about mud lumps on a dirt road? Noise, public urination, and minors drinking and just about anything they can throw at them.  It got shut down all last year because some kid took daddy's brand new truck bogging and torn it up then daddy tried sueing the property owner for damage to his truck.  He had to pay his lawyer just to tell him to get bent.  He didn't charge for entry and all the lawyer fees were out of his pocket.  $5 a truck would have helped him out a lot.

i didnt go but i can say that i would have been more then willing to pay $5 for a whole day worth of play time and getting to see alot of sweet trucks and getting to hangout with good people that in it self is worth it so i agree grow up quit complaining about $5 or just stay home no one is forcing you to go                 thank you to all that put these events on when you do not have to and i hope to make it in the future               everybody stay dirty and have nothing but a load of fun

It sounds to me like the problem was with his dumb ass kid,not the property owners.Doesn't anyone take or teach responsibility for their own actions anymore?

it was 5 buck donation FOR CARLOAD, we was there for a few hours & hit the trails, bog was off the hook, too many people, was a clusterfuk leavin the place... had a good time tho thanks backyard boggers

That's so funny. We saw a white Chevy tearin' it up out there wonderin', "Who in the world is getting wild in that truck?" She got closer and found out it was a little old lady with a bunch of kids! Next time you see her, tell her she's got mad drivin' skills! I think I even saw air under a couple tires!

i would have been happy to pay 5 or even 10 but the guy who let us in just let us in.  i never heard even a bad word the whole day just talked to alot of great people and seen alot of great boggin.  cant wait till next time i will definatly be there.
