1982 chevy is going (big block.)!!!!!!!!!!!!

[/b]i am starting a new toy it is a 1982 chevy long box it has some good stuff already 355 350th and a 208  the bad stuff is 32s and 273 gears but i have dana 60 and 14 bolt with 456s to go in and 8ins of lift iam going to run 38.5 rvts for now just waiting for hubs to be machined down then start to put it together i have to get a name for it yet

my '82 was called "Big Blue"  getting rid of it though.  I love it, it's taken such a beating and still beating.  Nice truck.   Keep it going.

how about big blue 2 or maybe ol blue, if you paint it blue. If you leave it black you could go with blackie, midnight runner, or how about midnight special.

umm, seen that, however, chevyracer said hes gettin rid of Big Blue so that frees up  that name.... Although, I can see a certain point where that might be disrespectful to name a rig (SUPERTRUCKER)after another members  ex rig (CHEVYRACER). But I would not see a problem with it if a member did want to run with the name of a members ex rig as long as he paid tribute to it and the onwer that owned the rig with, say, some burgers and brats. onthe grill and a case a beer. By the way TOMAC. Do the letters F/O mean anything to you....LOL

i worked on it all afternoon on friday i still have get new hard line for the front brakes and a bunch of shock bolts ba$tard joint for the back and drop t case hopfully will be done by end of the weekend i will post picks when done

i have  90 % of it together but found out that my 15 inch 8 lugs will not clear a dana 60 front  they have 4 inches of back spacing the most i could run is maybe 2 inchs so it will clear i am getting fustrated i think it is time to walk away for a couple of days

I got some 15x10s with 2" backspacing but I can't sell them LOL I knwo ti was worthless to say that but I'm an a$$ I got my "82, "Big Blue" back today.  Not sure what I am going to do with her but I'll think of something.
