Help 400 trans questions.

Well  got the 425 cadillac motor out of jeep went to drop the SBC in...... I Forgot that the BOP trans dont fit chevy LMAO.

So my next step I was going to get a 350 trans, but of course 400's and 350 have different tail shaft so Im not sure if a 350 will fit my adapter to the dana 300 tcase.

So basically my question is will a 400 turbo fit this adapter? any help will be appreciated.

Just buy an adapter plate that will allow you to bolt a chevy motor to a bop tranny...problem solved.

I've got 2 chevy 400's I'd sell for cheep just swap your gut's into one of them and your good to go

was hoping if it would fit i would just swap in a 400 turbo and take the BOP out.........

a dana 300 is just strong as a 205 chevy case...why fix whats not broke,,,all you have to do is have your output shaft changed into a 400.. plus a kit to rebuild the 400 is only 120-130 dollars..  now add the cost of a 350 with a 208 and the different driveshafts.. the 400 looks cheap. and easier.. and no your adapter will not fit a 350.. the 350's have 4 bolts on the rear housing.. 400's have 6 bolts

yea i figured the  swap of the 350 and 208 would be a pain....like i said i would rather just put in a 400. Do i have to change the output or will a chevy 400 bolt right up to that adapter to the 300?
cause if i can find a good 400 ill do that......but if i need one rebuilt then will definatley have to start talking to someone LMAO thanks everyone with the help so far.
