my family picks them but i dont, too busy turkey huntin in morel season. heard they are popping good west side of state.

I was in the restraunt in Beaverton yesterday and a couple there said they found some up in the Gladwin area. Not out heavy yet though...

when I was a kid, my dad,stepma,sis & I would hit cemertary rd offa f-97 & the woods behind cemetary & clean up, grocery bags full... morels or bearclaws

was great back in the day...

found two in my backyard last night while i was mowing, but they were very small.

Heather's the hunter of our group. She walked all 200 acres of the farm but didn't find but two (20 feet from the house). Went over to a friends and found a couple dozen but were still really small. I think next week they'll start getting better.

i found my VERY FIRST out by where my buddy works on his truck, they were out in the open nowhere near pine trees, and i was not not even looking for them i was just walsking around and just looked down and boom there they were.

there mushrooms alvin.

I found a few in the yard by the apple trees.

the girls mom found a crap load of them in her backyard on the edge of the woods.

Was getting ready to go look last night and the neighbor stopped by and showed me all the ones he found. Funny I was just getting ready to go to the same spot. LOL Oh well we went to his house and ate them all.

mom has found 3 to 4 pounds so far.

We found about 300 over the weekend. Its tuff when you have to come back and dump your bags and head back out to get the rest of them.
