ANYONE KNOW WHAT OR IF THERE IS A HEIGHT LAW FOR MI. OR AT LEAST THE LANSING AREA HAVE HAD TWO PEOPLE PULLED OVER IN THE LAST TWO DAYS THAT I KNOW FOR BEING TO HIGH ONE GOT A TICKET THE OTHER ONE GOT A WARNING  GUESS IT IS THE SAME COP  GO FIGURE  HE SAID BUMPER HEIGHT  WAS 27" MAX  BUT THERE ARE NEW TRUCKS AT THE FORD DEALER HERE N TOWN THAT HIGH OR HIGHER   WANNA HERE ANYONE POINT OF VIEW

peterson four wheel and off road mag covered that once i believe it goes by weight class such as half ton 3/4 ton and so on

4,501 - 7,500: Frame: 24" Bumper: 28"

7,501- 10,000: Frame: 26" Bumper: 30"

yes it dose n thank you                  still there are so many big trucks around town  n nobody has had problems n now there getting strict  hmmmm wounder why ??????

just going to lower the tire pressure in the kids truck lol  think i can get 5" lol and is the plastic air deflector  in the bottom of the bumper  still the bumper lol

New EQ for staties and other law dogs is a yard stick and or tape measure to check your hight  glad I live in Nevada no hight law here iv'e seen trucks here with 12 inchs of lift and more

holy offroad lights batman. you could see that thing from space lol. i have been driving around with my tj that has 40 inch hawgs and i know im over the limit by well lets see................ 7 inches at the bumper and like 8 1/2 at the frame. no one has stopped me yet. i wouldnt go driving in like flint or detroit or sterling heights or places like that thought they will stop you for sure

I have 10" of lift and 38.5 tires and i havent had a problem with getting pulled over, even passed a few cops!!!!

I was gonna fab up a new piece of bumper to lower its height to make me legal but be removable for wheeling clearence, and it will give me a place to mount some new lights

I've drivin a truck with 35's on the street for years. I always thought the cop was to measure the middle of the headlight to the groud . And how can they inforce a law when cops are not educated in automobles, by that I mean make, model, year ect...

the info Tbig gave me says no altering the frame  my kids truck has a 10" IFS  lift with 38 swampers n she hasnt had a a proublem but two friends of mine have  the one only has like a 6" IFS  lift n 35 and she got pulled over monday      like mudfit said state is goning broke

How are you going to lower the frame?

Didnt plan on lowering the frame, I figure if I make an attempt to be somewhat legal they wont screw with me to much. They aint to bad now but the less reasons they can pull me over for the better

i wouldnt worry about it  boggerram  till you get stoped im sure it'll pass to many big trucks with to much money in them to make everyone lower them ...........I hope  lol
