For right now I want to keep the front looking stock with the airdam...dont worry after I am done those hooks will be stronger than a hitch. I am going to sandwich the frame rails with 1/8 steel welded all around and drill holes through them and mount hooks or loops with Grade 8 bolts then weld them to the frame as well!

On second thought I am going to fab up some d ring shackle mounts...kinda like the cucv blazers and trucks have.

this is what i have on the front of my bronco and it works great!!!!!!!!

I second the D-ring idea. I want to do that on the front of Brutus.

I am not really going to do D ring shackles but what I have in mind is to make mounts attached to the frame that stick out of the front bumper a little to attach screw type clevis too. Got to get my new bumper first and when I take the old one off the fab process will begin...my friend has a machine shop so I have access to steel, welders and what ever else I need. End goal is it's going to be super strong, not obtrusive and look like it might have come from the factory that way.

i've got 2 of them 30,000lb D rings and a 2" reciever in my front bumper....

i've jerked on them ALOT, even had a dozer hooked up to it, and another truck behind mine chained up........ never had any worries about them since!

Definitely going to have my dad weld some tow hooks on the front of mine.
Dad, I'm twelve.
