How old were you when you first brought your very first RC with your own money?

Hmmmm, I think i was 16.... bought my first real R/C car, was an HPI RS4, Thing was sweet!!!

I was 14 it was a koyosho inferno 10 nitro buggy.  Ive had many rc's since then

Woulda been 1991 for me...............my brother and his buddy bought the high price remote control, trucks, baja VW, they were like 150/200 at the time ....................that got me interested.

So my Dad and me went to Radio Shack and he bought me a remote controled Yellow 4x4 type truck, I had alot of fun with that in parking lots, ect.

I dont remember what happended to it. But it was the only one I ever had.

I got mine from a friend I was 16 or 17 at the time. It was an older TC3. Had it for two years and gave it back to him. First one I got on my own with my money was a XXX-S off eBay.  Man that was a fast car. T5 motor in it and had alot of hop-up on it. Paid 250 for it shipped to my door with a ton of extra parts.  Man I miss it some times.

25? lol I like the real things more! got a wheelie king cause a buddy had one that was fun so I got a faster one.. and got hooked. but I really only run my r/c in the snow spring and summer is real truck time! lol

i was 11 or 12, rc-10t, never had much help with it and sold it cheap. made $3.00 hour to buy it too. futaba magnum jr, titanium tie-rods, dont remember the other stuff. bought a sledgehammer rtr little while later. should of started with that one!
