Yea but with a tractor tire truck yóu want toqrue..and you will never get the torque out of a small block like you can with a big block..

dont worry about the small block. Just get her together and work out the bugs and test and tune her. Motors are easy to swap. I built mine with crapy 350 originally and swapped out to the bbc when i got the funds. It's fun even when you dont have the motor you want to. You will have a blast either way. Unless you are bill Gates, there is allways going to be someone out there with a bigger, badder truck. As long as you are happy with it and having fun thats all that matters.

Hell yea, my neighbor is real high in 4-H so Im gonna try and get em to either add a class or have combine the 3/4 and 1 tons and make the outlaw class for trucks with rocks, I aint no lightweight like last year, yea that would be sick if we got that many trucks!
