My CJ5 Project

Well picked this up around Thanksgiving and haven't had time to do much yet. I got this to build with my 9yr old son. Stats as of now are 1980 CJ5, 4.3L TBI V6, T-176 4-speed, Twin-sticked Dana 300 with short tail shaft, Narrowed Chevy Dana 44 front end 4.11 gears, Nissan C200 rear end 4.11 gears with booty-fab disk brakes, YJ leaves with CJ mains in rear. I got a ton of parts with it. Its pretty solid front to back. Have a little patch work on floors and rear fender wells. Future plans as of now are, high steer and different rear end. This will take a long time because I drive OTR truck.

As you can see I have alot of parts for it, new including painless wiring harness, griffin alum radiator and much much more. I have plenty to keep me busy for awhile. I'm in no hurry to finish. I just acquired a CJ7 to play in.

But thats a whole different thread.
