I don't have one and the only reason I'd like to get one is I'd make more an hour if I have a CCW...

in my job field it's hard to get bonded with out a CCW...

I have one.  I have noticed more respect from the police when you get pulled over.  Gotten out of a couple tickets it seems, because the fact that they like to see "good guys" carry a gun.

i have been thinking about going down and getting mine but have to save up that $220.00 . $110.00 for the class and $110.00 down that the county clerks the for the paperwork and fingerprints.

you gotta be carefull and not let anyone see you carrying it. but as for searching your house anytime they want NO!!!!!  You are supposed to let the cops know you have the permit and wether or not your carrying anytime you have a dealing with them but that's not a big deal it's not like they will pull they're gun on ya or anything. as was said earlier Most not all cops treat you good because in order to get the permit you have to be a "good guy" in other words you can't have any criminal history...
